Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 October 2026
Welcome to Little Tallies!
These Terms of Service explain how families can use our website and learning app. We've tried to keep them straightforward.
In these terms, "you" or "your" refers to users of our website and app, including parents and guardians. "We", "our" or "us" refers to Little Tallies, owned by Chrysoula Karanika, trading as Little Tallies. "Our services" refers to the Little Tallies website and app.
1. About Little Tallies
Little Tallies provides playful educational activities to help children explore early maths. These terms apply to the Little Tallies website and mobile app.
If you have a question about these terms, you can reach us through our Support & Contact page.
2. Using Little Tallies
Children can begin playing without creating an account. Some additional activities and features require a parent or guardian to sign in with a Google account.
The app is intended for children to use with appropriate adult guidance, including from parents, guardians, teachers or tutors. Accounts must be created and managed by parents or legal guardians, who are responsible for deciding whether the app is suitable for their child. Children should not create accounts themselves.
Please use Little Tallies lawfully and do not attempt to interfere with its security, operation or other people's access.
3. Accounts and learning progress
When a parent or guardian signs in, Little Tallies can save learning progress on the device and on our servers to support continued play and progress across devices.
Parents and guardians should keep access to their Google account secure and contact us if they believe their Little Tallies account has been accessed without permission.
To close an account, open Settings (top-left corner of the dashboard), then About Little Tallies → Close Account → Close. See our Privacy Policy for details about information and deletion.
4. Price and future features
The Little Tallies app is currently free to use, with no subscriptions, in-app purchases or advertisements.
We may introduce new features or optional paid services in the future. If we do, we will explain any applicable prices and conditions before a purchase is made. We will not charge you simply because you have an existing free account.
Products offered through our Etsy shop are purchased through Etsy and are subject to the applicable listing information and Etsy's terms.
5. Educational content
Little Tallies is designed as a learning resource, not as a guarantee of particular educational outcomes. Children learn at different speeds, and families can choose how to use the activities.
We work to keep the content accurate and useful. If you spot a problem, please tell us through our Support & Contact page.
6. Our content and intellectual property
The Little Tallies name, original illustrations, activities, text, designs and software are owned by us or used with permission, except where otherwise stated.
You may use the website and app for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not copy, sell, redistribute or commercially exploit our original materials or software without permission, except as allowed by law or by a specific product licence.
7. Availability and changes
We may update activities, correct errors, add features or carry out maintenance. Sometimes the website or app may be temporarily unavailable.
If we make a material change that affects existing users, we will provide appropriate notice where required. These terms do not remove or limit your statutory rights.
8. Third-party services and links
Little Tallies uses services such as Google sign-in, and the app is distributed through app stores such as the Apple App Store. It may also link to third-party websites, including Etsy. These services have their own terms and privacy information, which apply when you use them.
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when using Little Tallies.
9. Responsibility and your rights
We take reasonable care in providing Little Tallies, but we cannot promise uninterrupted availability or that the app will work on every device.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.
10. Ending use of the service
You can stop using Little Tallies at any time. If you have an account, you can close it using the in-app steps described above.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security issues or legal requirements. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us.
11. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as Little Tallies develops. We will update the date shown above and provide additional notice of significant changes where appropriate.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can deal with any dispute. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live. This does not affect any statutory rights you have as a consumer.
13. General
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply. If we don't enforce a term straight away, that doesn't mean we've given up the right to do so later.
14. Contact
